MusAid is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that helps music schools around the world with volunteering teachers and donated instruments and materials.
To date, MusAid has made donations to music schools in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Burma, Vietnam, Haiti, El Salvador, Nicaragua, and most recently to the National Youth Orchestra of Belize.
In addition to donations, MusAid has started to offer free Workshops, providing lessons, masterclasses, and pedagogical guidance to students and teachers in these programs. MusAid travelled to Belize with volunteer teachers to work with the National Youth Orchestra of Belize, a new program sponsored by the National Institute of Culture and History as a means to redirect energy away from violent crime, gangs, and drug networks that have defined Belize as one of the most violent nations in the world.
